How lucky are these girls to have each other! I had always hoped that my sister Alison and I would have children that were close in age. We never dreamed the girls would be 2 weeks apart! Maggie was born July 24 and Mary Elizabeth on August 7. Check out the size difference!
P.S. The beautiful quilt they are laying on was made by Mary Elizabeth's interim family. THANKS to Betty and her amazing family!

How sweet! Even next to her beautiful cousin, Mary Elizabeth still seems big to me. How I praise our Almighty God for His divine grace and faithfullness in answering His children's prayers and providing a forever family for this precious baby girl - and a forever daughter and sister for this precious family!
God is good - all the time!

Brea,
I love this picture! It will be great to do this kind of picture
on a monthly basis to track their
1st year's journey together!
God is so Good ALL the time!

Brea, I bawl like a baby every time I visit your blog this past several days. I am so very happy for you and your family!
That picture is awesome. I love your other commenter's suggestion about tracking the girls' growth on a monthly basis to show their progress as well as the size difference!
I remember those days of teensiness...my Girly was 4 pounds 13 ounces at birth, and only a few pounds more than that when we met her. My sister was a very preemie twin at birth, and weighed only 2 pounds 14 ounces, so I have something of a bit of experience with how tiny your little M.E. is. I remember Dad holding Amy (my sis) on his hand the first week she was born...her entire head and body fit on his one hand and her little arms and legs dangled over the sides. Wow. Such a miracle. God is so good, isn't He?!
I've been hanging on every day waiting for the blog to update!! And now..I've got the full story! She's so blessed to have you. I'm thinking your Creative Memories days are going to come in handy!! You'll be "scrapin'" with the best of them!! Love you guys, and can't wait to see her in person.

Freemans, these pictures are all so cute! I love being able to see the expression on everyone's faces as they hold your new little one. We're very happy for you all, and we're praying for your family as you begin this new part of your life.
Love,

Brea,
This is Karin, Molly Ledford's sister. Mary Elizabeth is so beautiful! I have prayed for you, and Molly has been giving me updates. I know how scary the NICU is. My son, Matthew was born 6 days after little Maggie (5 weeks early). He was a big preemie, but lost a lot of weight in the first 2 weeks of his birth. I know with the love you will provide for her, she will continue to grow. I truly believe God has brought her to a special family. God bless you all.
