I received an update this morning on V. They have been told it is stage 4 lung cancer that has spread. The words were "treatable but not curable." Sounds like those doctors are limiting God huh?
Please pray for this family any chance you get. V and N (his wife) have two little girls and he is YOUNG! They are not currently in a church, but searching.
Here is my prayer for them: that church finds them. That they see the body of Christ surrond them in their time of need. That any needs they have be met before they even ask. That N and V see clearly where they need to be and when they need to be there...right now they are searching out a second opinion before starting treatment and N is in charge of scheduling all this mess including chemo. That any other sickness stays out of their home. That their minds are consumed with peace instead of worry. That they FEEL this prayer and LOVE from the ones praying for them. I am praying for a miracle. One of my dear friends lived for 10 years after her diagnosis of stage 4 cancer that was supposed to kill her quickly. OUR GOD IS BIGGER THAN ANY DIAGNOSIS!!! His will is perfect and he only wants us to know HIM. HE IS A GOD OF MIRACLES AND I have seen these miracles happen. Lord, please be with this family both in their time of need and in their time of rest. Allow appointments to fall into place. Allow people to meet their earthly needs before they even ask. Comfort them Lord as they are so scared, so unsure, and so consumed with that awful word CANCER. Allow them to focus on LIFE and CURES!!! Pick them up in your arms and allow them to rest in you!
I will update as I have them. PRAY PRAY PRAY!
